Our Origin
CAFIESA (Cacaos Finos Ecuatorianos S.A.) was founded in 1974 in Guayaquil, Ecuador, when a young Ecuadorian engineer came back from Germany after his studies. He believed in the natural resources that his homeland provided, and decided to start a cocoa processing plant, which soon became well-known for its excellent quality products and reliability.
In 2007, our company implemented 'Inclusive Business' which establishes direct relationships with farmers and allows communities to benefit from these agreements. We are committed to improve continuously the quality of our products, search for new and healthier alternatives and farming practices, while providing the Ecuadorian Arriba Cacao Nacional and its delicious flavor to the rest of the world. |
